Activities

Listed here are some of the activities we have running. You are welcome to join in any that may appeal to you. For more information contact the clergy or a churchwarden. 

The Choir Meets to practice on Thursday evenings and leads worship at 10 am on Sunday.
Also officiate at  weddings. 
Sunday School and Rock Solid On Sundays, The Sunday School, for children up to Year 4, meets in the Forge at 9.45 am and Rock Solid for young people from Year 5 to Year 9 meets in the Parish Hall at 9.45 am, both for about 45 minutes of games, stories and activities before joining the congregation in church. (Excluding Easter, Summer and Christmas holidays)
Mothers' Union Meets twice monthly - the first Tuesday at 2.00 pm and the third Tuesday at 7.30 pm. There is a varied programme of speakers, social and fund-raising events, as well as sharing in deanery and diocesan activities.

Mothers' Union is a Christian organisation which promotes the well-being of families worldwide, and has branches in 60 countries. Members are united in prayer, worship and fellowship.

Membership is open to both men and women (whether or not they are parents or married) who have been baptised and support the Aims and Objectives of the Mothers' Union.
Production Group This is a theatre group. The group helps to provide drama for social occasions and in worship. Its main event is the annual show in the autumn where up to fifty people tread the boards in a highly polished and funny production. 
Discussion Groups These meet at various times especially during the year to discuss any aspect of the Christian faith. This is less about teaching and more about learning. We attempt to be as open as  possible and do not demand certain beliefs but welcome diversity and questions
